Yes, we are starting late.
Yes, we having issues…. But it is time to put those aside.
Now, it is time to get going.
Saturday June 9th (weather permitting, and it looks good for now) we will be riding to Chatham to meet up with Stu and Bob (a potential new member)
We’d like to be there around 11-11:30am so plan your departure accordingly
After we assemble a ride to Erieau/Rondeau and stop for lunch will follow
Now, can you see how this becomes challenging? A member from the Ottawa area has about enough daylight to get there say hi and head home… Not much fun but at least you can get your Ironbutt certification! That being said it would be good to see you guys from the east but it is not expected that you make such a commitment
If and when you can please post your interest and we can start creating ‘pick up’ points along the way

And as usual, non members who are interested are welcome to come along as well

The weather was not particularly favorable for bikes. There were probably some locals and a few hardy souls that went down the night before and I’m sure that some people made it in their cages. Did anybody from here go? If so, how many others were there?

I’d like to start off by wishing you and yours a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hopefully you were very good this year and Santa brought you some new bling for your bike!
As expected now that we are in the grip of winter everything has slowed to a crawl. I’d like to thank those members who check in from time to time (I can see you!) and to those first time visitors… We are still alive and kicking!
Speaking of the site it requires a little work…. The calendar despite all my efforts will not show events in chronological order (GRRRR!) and the notification system is quite flakey. It may be hours when I’m notified of a new person wanting to comment/post of it may take weeks. I guess that the cost of being “free!”
We had planned to have a logo ready and patches or t-shirts or something but it seems work, family and the holiday season has delayed that. Rest assured we are still working on it, it is just delayed
I am hopeful now that hands are off the throttles and on the keyboards that more perspective members will be able to find us and will want to join. I have tested what i think people will search for and our site performs quite well in search results depending on the keywords…. It might just be working. I received an email today expressing interest to join (hopefully a trend!)
Now I know some of you will be attending the bike show on Sunday…. I don’t think I can make it but I hope you have fun and if you get any cool pics feel free to post them
It also may be too early for this but I’ll throw it out there anyway…. If you have any events you are planning to go to or endorse feel free to post those as well
I think it is safe to say as long as Bear is holding his yearly Victory in Bancroft we will be there!
